I've been drawing more lately, it's great. I'm not working on what I should be, which is bad, but hey, it's better than not drawing at all. Plus, with the help of the daily drawing challenge I've even reclaimed my previous record drawing pace of finishing a sketch book in under 6 months. Huzzah!

I've got a few more challenges to juggle...

SacAnime Con is coming up, last weekend in August. and I are going to be sharing a table, and are still trying to have an artbook/sketchbook ready by then. But *wyndstar is fighting off a nasty flu so this deadline may creep up too soon. If you're going to SacAnime, drop by and say hi.

My portfolio is just a few pieces shy of being basically complete, but I'm struggling quite a bit with the background paintings. I feel like my coloring is really at a rudimentary level and I'd really like to develop it.

But yipes, I'm supposed to be animating too. The balance between the fine and commercial arts is a tricky one.
