Storyboarding attempt with a little pixie dude I made up quite a while ago that originally was supposed to star in a fantasy-shoujo-romance-comedy manga.
Pfft, so much for that. xD
Would love some advanced crits on this one though. I'm pretty much doing this off of what I learned in my comicking days, which I'm sure leaves some things to be desired in the stroyboarding world.
So if you don't follow what's going on or can't make something out, let me know, please!
works for me. In my attempts to do story boards I've had very similar results in how the action was portrayed.

This is a link to my webcomic site [link] please check it out. People tell me it's funny, so I got that going for me. Then if they're really nice, they buy a shirt [link]
I don't really know what the animation world actually requires, but I can easily follow the action, the dialogue fits, and there's no confusion as to whats going on from board to board (which is the big thing for storyboards)
So, this be an awrsome storyboard
(btw, I'm still falling behind over here, I'm trying to think of some sort of "bonus" to add/give/draw/whatev' to you cause I feel like a "broken promiser", seeing as I said itd be done a few days ago, lol, wow how that turned out, I'm trying to BUILD bridges, not burn them, so yah, its been a crummy week. whats going on is I'm doing this 2 page comic (im not fast yet at full comic pages, lol) for a horror anthology and its due this weekend and I wanted it done last week but its taking longer than I expected as I had to redo a few things and I'm going all stabby now, so yah, I'm gonna throw in a "bonus", as soon as I figure out what, lol)

"You'd better take care of me, Lord... because if you don't you're going to have ME on your hands."
Thanks! I was hoping I hadn't lost my visual storytelling after taking a break from comic stuff for so long.
(And no worries, you are forgiven. Seriously, no bridge burning going on here. I've been in the same boat, stuff happens and things get behind schedule. I'd much rather wait for a good job than have it rushed for the sake of getting it out of the way, you know? So focus on your comic pages! )
I seem to be the KING of stuff getting in the way and throwing me behind, lol. It'll be nice to be able to work on things at a normal pace again soon, lol :-P

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
